I just feel like people complain about Sasuke's "thick plot armor" or whatever, but that's not the problem of the fight. Instead, we not only got a stupid and ridiculously over the top explosion, but this same explosion didn't do shit.Īll right, I went on a tangent here. But then again, he was perfectly fine with killing Team 7, basically because he felt like it. I know Sasuke had his moral code to not kill anybody but Itachi. I doubt stabbing Deidara with Chidori would cost more time than summoning Manda, put him under a genjutsu, get in his mouth and perform the reverse summoning. Why not let Sasuke just kill Deidara? After all, he's fast enough to do it, considering the way he escaped. One can say he went out with the bang, but in actuality, it was more of a whimper. My main issue is the fact that Deidara's suicide accomplished absolutely nothing. I have my problems with the way the fight ended, but not because of how Sasuke escaped. So imo it's quite believable that Sasuke can summon Manda, force a genjutsu and jump through its orifices before the explosion hit him. Sharingan activation and genjutsu is pretty much instant. Kabuto (out of chakra after taking a rasengan) and sick Orochimaru also summoned Manda, though not sure how that exactly works. (Note that BoS Sasuke casually suppressed a larger amount of Kurama chakra at the Orochimaru hideout, and Kurama compared him to Uchiha Madaraĭrugged Jiraiya who had trouble kneading/manipulating chakra could also summon Bunta He's an Indra reincarnate so it's reasonable that he had enough chakra to summon Manda even in this state.įor comparison, kid Naruto with a miniscule amount of Kurama chakra summoned Bunta Sasuke had trouble standing up partly because he had to electrocute himself with Chidori to disable C4 bombs Sasuke could still maintain sharingan after being summoned backĪnd we know what would happen if he's truly out of chakra. The Great Snake Escape refers to Sasuke's method of escaping the full impact of Deidara's C0 explosion.ĭeidara (who had no reliable means to assess chakra level like Sharingan) claimed Sasuke was low on chakra, which is never confirmed.
